Throwback: My year 2014

Kyllä, tämä on nyt sellainen "Facebook-my year" -kuvakollaasi potenssiin 10. Eli kuluneen vuoden parhaat hetket ja pienoiset sepustukset näistä. Vuosi on ollut kerrassaan huikea! Oon päässy puuhastelee kaiken näköistä kivaa. Tähän vuoteen on mahtunut myös yllättävän monta hiustyyliä. Noniin, eiköhän aloiteta. Noin vuosi sitten hiukseni olivat pitkät ja punaiset.

Vuosi alkoi näin. Ei kysymyksiä. / This is how the year started. Don't ask.

Vuoteen mahtui erityisen paljon tanssia. Tammikuussa minä ja muutama söpöliini kävimme pyörähtelemässä lavalla Porvoon amiston valmistuvalle kampaaja/maskeeraaja -luokalle malleina toimien.

This year had a lot of dance action happening. In January me and 3 other cutie pies swirled on a stage whilst modelling for Porvoon amisto's graduating hair/makeup class. Fun fun.

Tammi-Helmikuun vaihteessa minä ja muutama muu kaunis neitokainen olimme osallisia muuan musiikkivideon kuvauksissa. Ainiin, silloin myös dramaattisesti leikkasin hiukset.

Somewhere between January and February me and my beautiful lady friends participated in making of a music video. And that's right about when i dramatically cut my hair.

Kävipä myös niin, että pääsiäisen aikoihin eksyin Himokselle huikeassa seurassa. Siellä esiintyivät Kaija Koo ja Haloo Helsinki!

Around Easter I found my self in a cabin at a ski resort (Himos) with some awesome people. Great Finnish artists performed there. None you would know.

Nyt pääsemme asiaan. Huhtikuussa minä ja kaksi kaveriani pidimme yhteiset synttäripaardit. Vuokrasimme talon ja kutsuimme ihmisiä. Paljon ihmisiä. Jokainen ihminen maksoi mutaman euron avustusta talon vuokraan. Paardeissa esiintyi live bändi ja tarjolla oli ruokaa ja juomaa kaikille. Huomaa hiukset joissa nyt raitoja.

Now we're getting to the good stuff. In April me and two of my friends threw a big birthday party for ourselves. We rented a house and invited people. A lot of people. All the people who showed up made a small payment of a couple euros to help us with the rent. In return they got to enjoy live music and free food and drinks. Note the hair. Highlights.

Totaniin joo! Sit tuli toukokuu. Toukokuussa kävin minilomalla Roomassa. Tässä vaiheessa hiukset oli ruskeat ilman raitoja. Ah nii joo. Hotelli, jossa miniloman ajan asustelimme oli se missä Cheekin Timantit on ikuisia on kuvattu. Hyvät näköalat.

Alrighty! Next up May. In May I went to Rome for a mini vacation. At this point my hair was brown. No highlights.

 Toukokuussa oli myös aika viimeisen tanssinäytöksen. Vikat balleriinailut 16 vuoden jälkeen. Aika haikeeta. 

I also had my last dance recital in May. The last time in ballet shoes after 16 years. Sad.

 Kesäkuussa kävin ekaa kertaa ikinä festareilla. Provinssirockissa. Päästiin näiden mahtavien muidujen kaa vähän jorailee PVVMSK:n show bandin taustalle. Klassinen road trippi ja yöpyminen autossa. Just jees! Ja letti on vaalee.

In June I lost my festival virginity. At this music festival called Provinssirock. We were the background dancers for the show band of Conscript Band Of The Finnish Defence Forces with these sexy chicks. And the hair is lighter.

Päästii myös kattoo Rudimentalii. / We got to check out Rudimental's gig. Yay!

Heinäkuussa kävin katsastamassa nykyisen kotikaupunkini. Hiukset täys blondit.

In July I came to check out my current hometown. The hair is blonde.

Elokuu oli kiireinen kuukausi! Oli Jurassic Rockii, Nuubiaa ja muutto maapallon toiselle laidalle. Tapasin ihania ihmisiä ja oli hauskaa jne.

August was a busy month! There was the Jurassic Rock, I went to Nuubia and moved to the other side of the world. I met a lot of lovely people and had fun!

 Kuitenkin vasta syyskuussa sain oman kämpän täältä ja kävin myös seikkailulla ihanien ihmisten kanssa. Myös koulu alkoi syyskuussa!

In September I finally got my own apartment. And went hiking with the awesome folks. Also the school started in September!

Seikkailu! / Adventure!

Lokakuussa tein elämäni ensimmäiset karjalanpiirakat ja poltin käteni samalla. Juhlimme myös kiitospäivää ja Halloweenia. Onnistuin myös kalkkunan paistossa!

In October I successfully made my very first Karelian pies and burned my hand in the process. We celebrated Thanksgiving and Halloween. And I participated in successfully roasting a turkey!
